According to Hiscox, the amount for the hurricane insurance cover will get a big hike as there were number of disasters in Japan and US.
The insurance rates are predicted to go up by 10% as the market is approaching the period of fresh contracts. Hiscox has reported a drop of 10% in its overall growth in the first quarter of this year. many of the insurance companies are expecting a little impact on the rates as there has been huge losses from the natural disasters.
Hiscox have warned about a huge rise in the insurance cost as the natural disasters are on the rise.

Floridians are still awaiting a ruling from the Florida Supreme Court in . The Court will decide whether the “48 hour rule,” the statute that bars public adjusters from soliciting policyholders until 48 hours after the loss, is a violation of commercial free speech under Article I, § 4, of the Florida Constitution.

There has been good support found for Bill 52 by the assembly. The bill has received support from a number of California business firms.
According to this new bill issued by members of the assembly like Jared Huffman and Mike Feuer, it has been revealed that the new provision shall be a great opportunity for the protection of the rights of the consumers as well as the business men.
Feuer was of the view that “I am grateful for the broad support this bill has garnered from the business community, which recognizes that Californian families and businesses should not have to depend on the whim of an insurance company to halt a major rate increase”.
